In Uttar Pradesh, polling for 4th and last phase of three-tier Panchayat elections will be held tomorrow in 186 development blocks. The voting will be held between 7 in the morning and 5 in the evening. A total of 3 lakh 8 thousand 2 candidates including 1lakh 23 thousand 308 women are in fray in this phase for Gram, Kshetra and Zila Panchayats posts.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports elaborate security arrangements are in place for free and fair poll. One hundred and forty four companies of PAC along with policemen and home guards are deployed to maintain law and order during the elections. In this phase of polling, all the districts have been asked to carry out massive videography of the election process. The State Election Commission had also banned movement of all Ministers, MPs, legislators and other political persons in the election areas.Meanwhile the State Election Commission has decided the counting votes for all four posts will now be held on same day in two phases on 28th and 30th of this month.Panchayat elections in two districts of Etah and Kanshiram Nagar would, however, be held on November 2 and 9.
