The Allahabad High Court has said that Uttar Pradesh Government`s notification issued in 2008 for setting up a new district namely Kanshiram Nagar will automatically be quashed if it fails to develop infrastructure for the new district by March 31, 2014.A division bench of the court comprising Acting Chief Justice Amitava Lala and Justice Pradeep Kumar Singh Baghel has passed this order on a petition filed by the Collectorate Bar Association of Etah district and others. The court also directed the Government for initiating developmental works immediately.
