In Uttar Pradesh, High School examination results conducted by the Board for Secondary Education were announced today. Announcing the results in Allahabad, the UP Board Chairperson Sanjay Mohan told newsmen that Akash Yadav of Faizabad District has topped High school exams this year scoring 92.33 percent marks. Priyanka Sahu of Lucknow was declared topper amongst the girls category. The Board Chairman said girls once again outshined the boys in their performance. About 77 percent girls cleared their High School exam while 66 percent boys passed class X exam.
