In Uttar Pradesh, 17 senior officials including 13 IAS and 4 PCS officers have been transferred. The transfer has affected the district magistrates of Allahabad, Meerut, Kushinagar, Pilibhit, Badaun, Ramabai Nagar, Pratapgarh, Sitapur and Bulandshahr. AIR correspondent reports that Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Ashish Kumar Goel has been removed. Principle Sectaries of Transport, Energy, Urban Development and Food departments have been replaced.Senior PCS officer Subhash Chandra Uttam has been posted as Secretary of Ghaziabad Development Authority.
