Uttar Pradesh government has directed all 75 district administration to withdraw cases against Samajwadi Party workers lodged during the previous BSP regime. Quoting party sources, our Allahabad correspondent reports that all District Magistrates and District Police Chiefs have been asked to expedite the process to withdraw cases lodged against the ruling party workers. The Samajwadi Party has identified over 3,000 such cases that need to be withdrawn.
