Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that all information about the recent incidents in Banaras Hindu University, BHU, including the role of Vice Chancellor are being submitted to the Centre by the State government. <br/><br/>Talking to media persons at Gorakhpur, he said a detailed report will be submitted on the basis of magisterial enquiry. He said that people responsible for the misdeeds will not be spared. <br/><br/>Mr. Yogi blamed opposition parties for disturbing the atmosphere of educational institutions for political benefit. He said that opposition parties are engaged in spoiling academic atmosphere of the educational institutions in the State.<br/><br/>BHU administration has identified 65 more sensitive areas on<br/>the campus where CCTV cameras would be installed. In the first phase, the CCTV cameras would be installed at the entrance of the campus and outside the women's hostel. Women security personnel are also being included. <br/><br/>They have said that arrangements would be made for preventing the entry of vehicles on the routes surrounding the women's hostel. Defective street lights would be fixed and new street lights installed on the campus.<br/><br/>Meanwhile BHU Chief Proctor Onkar Nath Singh has resigned from the post taking moral responsibility for the recent series of incidents during students' agitation in the University. The Vice Chancellor has accepted his resignation and has appointed Prof. Mahendra Kumar Singh in his place. <br/><br/>BHU administration has nominated a retired Allahabad High Court Judge Justice VK Dixit to probe into recent series of incidents during students' agitation. <br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Varanasi Commissioner Nitin Ramesh Gokarn has submitted his reports to the government about police baton charge on agitated students and journalists at BHU. <br/><br/>It is learnt that in his report he had held BHU authorities responsible for not handling the situation with sensitivity and not taking proper action on the complaint of eve teasing lodged by a girl student. <br/><br/>The report also said that if the matter had been settled on time then there would not have been such a big controversy.
