In Uttar Pradesh the state government has decided to scrutinise the projects which were initiated by the previous BSP government. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has directed the officials to submit reports about such projects in view of their public utility. He has also said that all such projects where above 80 percent project works have been finished must be completed as soon as possible for maximum utilization of investments made in the projects. He has directed the officials to provide land for Agriculture University initiated by the Centre in Bundelkhand region. He has said that steps must be taken for separate budgetary provisions for backward regions like Bundelkhand and others to remove regional imbalances in the state.
