UP govt to carry out sting operations against medical staff in govt hospitals

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to carry out sting operations against doctors and other medical staff posted in various government hospitals of the state. According to the plan, decoys will be deployed to act as patients. This was revealed by the state's health minister Ahmed Hasan today. Mr Hasan said, although the government has suspended many corrupt doctors and inquiries have been ordered against many more, there are still many who are not doing their duties honestly.The minister also said that there were many government hospitals where patients are denied treatment or admission and diverted to private hospitals
