Uttar Pradesh government will appoint 40 thousand police personnel by November this year. This was disclosed by newly appointed Acting Director General of Police Rajendra Kumar Tiwari in Lucknow on Wednesday. He said, holding peaceful assembly elections next year will be a challenge for the state police. Mr Tiwari said, state police needs to identify places where disturbances occurred during previous elections and take suitable measures.
