UP govt taking all steps to contain spread of COVID-19 infection in state

<span style="color: #222222;">In Uttar Pradesh, the government is taking all steps to contain the spread of covid-19 infection in the state. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed concerned officials to increase the number of tests for COVID-19.  A record 1,83, 557 samples were tested for Coronavirus yesterday. AIR correspondent reports, as of now a record 1 crore 88 lakh 19 thousand 807 Covid-19 samples have been tested in state. During the last 24 hours 2 thousand 366 new cases  of Corona infection were  detected in the state and at present the number of active cases of Corona  in the state is 25 thousand 639.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Additional chief secretary Health, Amit Mohan Prasad told yesterday that a total 3 lakh 07 thousand 814 people got the facility of treatment in home isolation out of which 2 lakh 94 thousand 359 people have completed home isolation. Two thousand 281 people are taking treatment in private hospitals and the rest of the patients are in government hospitals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />''E-Sanjivani portal has proved very much helpful for Covid-19 patients and during the last 24 hours 2,579 people took medical consultation through the portal and as of now 2 lakh 31thousand 742 people have consulted through e-Sanjeevani.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appealed to people to follow Covid-19 protocols. Elderly persons, pregnant women and people with co- morbidity have been advised to avoid marriages and public functions to escape infection.</span><br />''  <br />
