Uttar Pardesh government has ordered suspension of a circle officer and entire force of Pahasu police station in Bulandshahr after a murder suspect allegedly committed suicide in police custody on Friday night. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports, Senior superintendent of police Bulandshahr Umesh Kumar Singh said once he came to know about the incident, he visited the site and ordered suspension of the entire force posted at the station.

Singh also sent a report to the state director general of police recommending adequate action against the circle officer in charge of the police station on charges of negligence.

Talking to AIR SSP Bulandshahr said,total nineteen police officials including CO, Inspector, Sub inspectors and Constables have been suspended in the matter and a FIR has been lodged. The investigation is underway, said SSP.
