The government also deployed para-military forces in and around the disputed structure besides checking of vehicles in the twin cities of Ayodhya and Faizabad. Authorities have banned observance of the day by political parties through different functions to avert any law and order problem. AIRCorrespondent reports, nearly 35 companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed at sensitive districts including Allahabad, Varanasi, Mathura, Meerut, Moradabad, Aligarh, Rampur, Mau and Azamgarh. Intelligence agencies and district administration officials have been asked to keep an eye on anti-social elements and rumour-mongers.
