The Uttar Pradesh government has recommended a CBI probe into the murder of two Chief Medical Officers Dr. Vinod Kumar Arya and Dr. BP Singh. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the government has also handed over investigation to the CBI into financial irregularities. It was said that the murder of both CMOs was a fall out of financial irregularities. An official spokes person has said that the state government has decided to hand over both the murder cases to the CBI for further investigation so that the agency could go into the depth of deputy CMO Y S Sachan's death case. The spokesman also said that a decision was taken to find out if there is any connection between the death of Deputy CMO Sachan and the murder of the two CMOs.
