The Congress today alleged that BSP led Uttar Pradesh government is not doing any thing for the development and progress of downtrodden community. Addressing a mammoth rally today at Ambedkar Nagar the National General Secretary Party MP Rahul Gandhi criticised the Mayawati government for its alleged failure in giving the benefits of the centrally sponsored schemes to the people. He said the state government is not enthusiastic about implementing Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment Guarantee Act MANREGA which is the largest employment scheme in the world. He said same is the case with the Right to Education act which may ensure progress of weaker section Before his address Mr Gandhi offered garlands to the huge photos of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.
