The UP Government has increased the legal fees and other allowances for Advocate general, government councils and for other legal officers. <br/><br/>A official press release issued today mentioned that The UP government has taken this decision after a marathon meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mayawati with senior officers held yesterday at her residence<br/> <br/>The Advocate General retainer fee is now double and he will get Rs 60,000 instead of Rs 30,000.The Court appearance fee for per working day for Advocate General and for all rank of standing councils have also been increased.<br/><br/>After this revision the chief standing councils will get Rs 5000 instead of Rs 1000 for per working day for their court appearance . The standing councils will get Rs 2000 for per working day appearances instead of Rs9 00.<br/> <br/>The present fee and allowances were being given as per the 2004 order. The government has taken decision in view of 6th pay commission hikes and inflation.
