In Uttar Pradesh, ahead of the reopening of Cinema halls today, State Government has announced exemption of license fee of multiplexes and cinema halls for six months period, starting from 1<sup>st</sup> of April to 30<sup>th</sup> of September this year. The decision was taken by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to lend support to the battered industry, which has been closed for last six months.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, cinema halls, theatres and multiplexes are set to reopen across the state from today with half of the occupancy after a long time of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />''<br />''Although in Bijnor district, cinema hall owners have decided not to open the cinema halls due to growing cases of COVID patients.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that the State Government has issued  guidelines for cinema halls in this regard. According to the guidelines issued by Chief Secretary R.K. Tiwari, there should be minimum six feet of distance between two individuals in the common area and waiting area. Thermal screening of individuals will be done before they enter the auditorium and only asymptomatic persons will be allowed entry. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The intervals of different shows should be staggered and efforts should be made to ensure that there is no crowding in toilets.
