The Uttar Pradesh government has approved Minimum Support price for purchase of wheat for Rabi year 2010-11. The cabinet has decided to procure wheat on the rate which was recommended by the centre as Rs 1100 per quintal for this Rabi year. <br/><br/>The government has set the target 39 lakh metric ton wheat procurement through the government agencies during this season. . Wheat procurement period will be effective from 1st of April to 30th June 2010.cabinet also approved more than 4406 wheat procurement centers during Rabi year throughout the state.<br/>
