UP govt announces financial assistance to victims of Allahabad blast

In Uttar Pradesh the government has announced financial assistance to the victims of the Allahabad blast in which six children including four girls were killed and eight others including two women injured in Kareli locality.AIR correspondent reports that one lakh rupees will be given to next kin of each killed in the blast while 50 thousand rupees will be provided to the seriously injured. The government has also announced 20 thousand rupees ex-gratia to the persons who received minor injuries. The Allahabad district administration has denied it as a terrorist act and said that Anti Terrorist Squad of state police has been assigned to ascertain the nature of blast.
