Uttar Pradesh Governor B L Joshi on Monday took additional charge of Uttarakhand as incumbent Ms. Margaret Alva has gone on a month-long leave. Mr. Joshi was administered the oath of office by Uttarakhand High Court's Chief Justice Barin Ghosh at a simple ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Dehradun. State Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank along with his Cabinet colleagues, besides senior bureaucrats were present on this occasion.
