All arrangements are complete for the seventh and final phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. Sixty Assembly seats in 10 districts will go to poll in this phase which will decide the political fortune of 962 candidates. The elections in this phase are being keenly watched as many prominent leaders of SP, BSP, BJP and the Congress are in the contest.

AIR Lucknow Correspondent reports that security forces have already reached most of the places in the poll-bound areas to ensure peaceful polling. Flag marches have also been conducted in sensitive and vulnerable areas to instill confidence among the voters. 1.8 crore voters are eligible to exercise their right of franchise.

The 40-member Goa Assembly also goes to polls on Saturday. Two hundred fifteen candidates are in the fray. AIR Panaji Correspondent reports that there will be multi-cornered contests in most of the constituencies with 74 independent candidates in the fray .
