UP gives NO to LPG facilities to major hospitals

In Uttar Pradesh government has given a big jolt to a scheme initiated by Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry for providing facilities of common LPG Kitchen at major hospitals in the state capital Lucknow. The government refused permission to the Union Minister of State for Oil and Petroleum Jitin Prasada to inaugurate the Sanjha Chulha programme in two hospitals.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports major public sector oil companies had approached the major hospitals in the state capital for providing a kitchen place to set up LPG stoves for the attendants of patients to cook their food during their stay at hospital. Of them two hospitals including Balrampur Hospital and Veerangna Awanti Bai Mahila Chikatsalya have provided kitchen space but their authorities did not permit the union minister of state to inaugurate the scheme scheduled on 29th of this month.
