In Uttar Pradesh, final list of electorates with their photos, published today in all the districts.The total number of voters have reached over 12 crore, 50 lakh in the state.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that in 46 constituencies spread over 20 districts, voters lists have also been published in Urdu language.The Commission has also initiated a special revision campaign from today till 12th of this month, to include names of left out voters. Similarly, distribution of Electorate Photo Identity Cards, EPIC, has also begun across the state. Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha said that to conduct free and fair Assembly polls, the Election Commission has decided to deploy more Central forces in comparison to the 2009 Lok Sabha and 2007 Assembly elections.During the 2007 Assembly elections 650 companies of Central forces were used. It has also set up air-intelligence units at airports to check the movement of unauthorised and unaccounted cash.He said that advance area domination teams would start reaching the respective places from the second week of this month which would also help in vulnerability mapping.He said, the sector magistrates have been asked to visit their designated areas and a list of telephone numbers of people with a good image would be prepared to know the exact situation during electioneering and on the polling day.

UP: Final list of electorates published
