Farmers in Allahabad have announced to continue their agitation till their demands are met. Convener of Farmers Rehabilitation and Welfare Union Raj Bahadur Patel told AIR Lucknow correspondent that hunger strike is continuing.The farmers said no work related to thermal power project and possession of acquired land will not be allowed. District magistrate has also said no work would be done at project site till next four months.He has said that farmers would be given compensation for their acquired land as per Famers Rehabilitation Policy 2010, and it will be Rs 570 per square meter.
