In Uttar Pradesh elections for heads for 821 Kshetra Panchayats will be held on 22nd of this month. Our Lucknow correspondent reports the state government and the State Election Commission issued notifications for the elections last evening. As per schedule announced by the State Election Commission whole election process will be completed within three days from 20 to 22 December. Nominations will be filed on 20th of this month and scrutiny of papers will be done same day. Entire election process will be held at block headquarters. A total of 63 thousand 710 Kshetra Panchayat Member are eligible voters to elect the Kshetra Panchayat Pramukhs. Election will be not held at Etah district due to High Court orders.
