Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that the results of the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are not on the expected lines. Speaking to reporters in New delhi, Rahul said he accepted responsibility of the short comings in the poll results. Rahul said he had strived to expand the political base of the Party in Uttar Pradesh and had worked with the poor and the farmers.
The Assembly poll trends he said, favours the Samajwadi party. Rahul said, the Organisational strength of the Congress Party in Uttar pradesh is not strong enough. Rahul said his work to improve the political system of the country will continue.
