UP election campaign heats up

In Uttar Pradesh, political parties are making all efforts to woo the voters.Congress general-secretary Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress understands the needs of the people in Uttar Pradesh. He addressed a meeting in Banda district of Budelkhand region.He said, the BSP, Samjawadi and BJP, were responsible for the misery of Budelkhand region.Mr Gandhi said that after several successful schemes like MNREGA, and right to education the Congress led UPA is giving right to food to people. Mr Gandhi also addressed public meeting in Kaushambi district.Kicking off the BJP’s ‘Satta Parivartan PadYatra’ (change in power march ) from deovaria district of eastern U.P, the state BJP president Mr Surya Pratrap Shahi said that development become stagnant during the BSP regime. He promised the people that if BJP comes to power; his government will provide fifty lakh jobs to youth. Addressing a meeting in Gonda, the National Secretary of Bahujan Samaj Party, Satish Chandra Mishra underlined the several pro-poor schemes initiated by the BSP government in the state.Mr. Mishra said that corrupt ministers had been expelled from the BSP government in Uttar Pradesh. He said the BJP had welcomed them and the BJP's real face has been exposed.
