In Uttar Pradesh, the Election Commission has asked non-residents and non-voters of 14 poll bound constituencies to leave the areas after the end of campaigning.

The Commission said, it will also be responsibility of the candidates and their parties to ask their supporters and leaders engaged in electioneering to leave the segments immediately if they are not voter from the concerned constituency.

The Commission has directed the law enforcing agencies to intensify the checking of hotels, rest houses, lodges and Dharmshalas to vacate the constituencies from outsiders.
