UP district administration denies permission to Modi to hold rallies tomorrow in Varanasi

In Uttar Pradesh, the district administration has denied permission to Narendra Modi to hold rallies tomorrow in Varanasi where he was scheduled to hold two rallies.

AIR correspondent reports that the district administration has not given any specific reasons for not allowing the rallies. The BJP local spokesperson said that the application for the permission was given to the administration well in advance.

BJP has charged the administration for scuttling the programme for which most of the arrangements have already been made.
