In Uttar Pradesh a magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the alleged custodial death at Dhakerawa police out post under Nighasan police station of Lakhimpur district this morning. Four policeman including the incharge of the out post have been suspended. The victim Rajendra Maurya detained by the police last night was found hanging by a ceiling fan.The agitated villagers indulged in violence today and put the police post in the district on fire.Local administration says that the victim had committed suicide.
