UP continues to reel under severe cold

<br/>Uttar Pradesh continued to reel under severe cold and dense fog conditions across the state. Thick and heavy fog engulfed several parts of the state and it has hit the rail, road and air traffic badly.<br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that it seems that there is no end to passenger woes as the trains continue to run late due to persistent foggy weather. The trains are running late for about 12 to 22 hours causing problems to the passengers. Some of the trains are being delayed for more than 24 hours. A number of flights and trains have been cancelled or rescheduled.<br/><br/>Agra remained the coldest place of the state with 3.3 degrees Celsius. The weather office has forecast mainly dry and fog would occur at several places. In most of the districts primary and junior high schools remain closed and timings for other classes have been changed. Meanwhile the death toll due to cold and dense fog has reached 662 in the state.
