Entire UP continues to reel under intense heat wave as the met office has predicted more rise of about one degree Celsius in the day’s temperature. Among the plain areas, Varanasi and Allahabad remained hottest places where the temperature was recorded 42 degrees Celsius at 11:30 this morning. Jhansi in Bundelkhand recorded 41.6 degrees this morning. Meanwhile the power crisis has aggravated in various districts resulting in drinking water crisis. The met office has predicted clear sky and hot sunshine during next twenty four hours.<br/>
