In Uttar Pradesh the government has constituted a committee comprising members from 11 state universities to revise the syllabus of undergraduate courses.Higher education secretary Avneesh Awasthi has said that vice-chancellors and teachers form the universities have been raising time to time need of revision in curriculum of universities as per modern references and considering which the government has decided to undertake standardisation exercise. He said the standardisation and revision work for uniformity in the syllabus will be completed by 10th of next month.Mr. Awasthi said it will be decided by the universities concerned on which academic session the new syllabus will be implemented.
