Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the fourth phase of Mission Shakti before the Shardiya Navratri on Saturday. In alignment with the Yogi government's commitment to women's safety, dignity, and empowerment, special programmes will be held in 18 districts from the 15th to the 23rd of October. In a press release, the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said, these districts will have women's empowerment rallies along with awareness programmes. Public representatives will also be a part of the district campaign and there will be large-scale programmes at the district and commissionerate levels. As part of Mission Shakti, the Chief Minister honoured several women in Lucknow for their outstanding work on Sunday.<br />''  <br />'' Similarly, on the 21st of October, women who have excelled in various fields will be honoured in different areas, including One-Stop Centers, self-help groups, and women engaged in self-employment in Ayodhya of Lucknow zone and Moradabad of Bareilly zone. On the 22nd of October, an awareness programme regarding Mission Shakti will be conducted in schools, colleges, and working women's hostels of Jhansi in the Kanpur zone and Saharanpur in the Meerut zone. On the ninth day of Navratri (23rd of October), the Lucknow Commissioner will organise a programme in Lucknow and Devipatan-Balrampur districts of Gorakhpur zone regarding gender equality, prevention of violence, and providing social dignity to the victim," the CMO release added.
