UP CM Yogi Adityanath apprises PM Modi of flood situation in state

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today apprised Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the flood situation in state.<br />''  <br />'' During a meeting of all chief ministers of Flood affected states with Prime Minister through video conferencing today Yogi Adityanath also told him about the steps being taken by state government for the flood control and relief and rescue work.<br />''  <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, Chief Minister told that despite of 10% deficit in the average rain between 1st June to 8 August, 20 districts of the state are flood affected due to surplus rains in Uttarakhand and Nepal.<br />''  <br />'' Four major rivers coming from Nepal Ghaghra Rapti Sharda and gandak are flowing above the danger mark. because of the heavy water flow embankments in three districts Azamgarh, Mau and Gonda had been damaged but they are repaired now.<br />''  <br />'' More than 5,75,000 people in these 20 districts are affected from the flood and crop in around 38000 hectares land has been damaged.<br />''  <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">13 people have lost their lives due to flood situation in a state after 15th July.15 teams of NDRF 9 teams of SDRF and 17 flood platoons of PAC have been deployed in the flood affected areas for rescue and relief work.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the meeting, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath apprised the Prime Minister of the flood situation in state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that Mr. Adityanath also told Prime Minister about the steps being taken by the state government for the flood control and relief and rescue work. </span>
