Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has strongly reacted to statements of opposition parties on assassination bomb attack on her cabinet collogue Nand Gopal Gupta alias Nandi. <br/><br/>Terming the statements as politically motivated, she told the media in Lucknow that the attack on Gupta was hatched by a Samajwadi Party MLA from Sant Ravi Das Nagar Bhadohi and Jailed Block Pramukh Chaka at Allahabad.<br/><br/>Mayawati alleged that when Nand Gopal Gupta was declared BSP candidate from Allahabad in 2007 Assembly polls, he was threatened by the accused Dileep Mishra. But Samajwadi party government didn’t take any action against him.<br/><br/>She claimed that her government has taken strong actions against criminal elements and huge properties of mafias and criminal elements worth of about 230 crores rupees have been seized.
