Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasised on door to door survey in order to contain Covid-19 infection in the state. Addressing a high level review meeting on COVID 19 in Lucknow yesterday, the Chief Minister directed officials to effectively conduct the door-to-door survey work and press more teams into service. He said, contact tracing and medical testing are important to control infection and called for conducting the exercises in an expeditious manner. Meanwhile, the state is witnessing surge in Covid-19 cases.<br />'' <br />''AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the total number of Corona cases in state has reached to 3,05,831. The death toll has also reached 4349 with 67 fresh casualties in a day. State additional chief secretary , Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that there were record 67,955 active cases in the state while as of now 2,33,527 patients have got recovered. The capital Lucknow is worst hit where getting 1117 new cases yesterday the total number of Corona cases has reached to 28301 and active cases are 9529.<br />'' <br />''As per health department record the recovery rate of the positive patients have gone up to 76.35 per cent while the fatality rate has come down to 1.42 percent. The official sources  said 1,40,562 sample tests were done and now the total Covid tests in the state has reached another milestone of 73,58,471 so far. <br />
