Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati alleged today that economic policies of Congress led UPA government is responsible for price rise of essential commodities. Talking to media persons this morning at Lucknow, she said that to check the price rise, the state government has fixed stock limit and is conducting a drive against hoarders. She said that for the sake of farmer’s interest, she has banned import of raw sugar in the state. She alleged that making export of sugar, Central government has benefited the capitalist. Replying to a question, she said that she will attend meeting called by the Prime Minister on price rise issue.
