UP celebrates Holi with fun, fervour and religious gaiety

The festival of colour is being celebrated with fun, fervour and religious gaiety across Uttar Pradesh today. People of all age groups are playing colour with neighbours and friends. At several places, groups of young people are being seen dancing on popular bollywood Holi songs. Thousands of people including foreign tourists have assembled in several temples at Mathura and Vrindavan, mainly in Banke Bihari and Dwarkadheesh temples, for celebrating Holi. Large number of foreign tourist have also reached ISKON temple in Vrindavan to take part in Holi celebrations there. Devotinoal singing is also being organised in many temples there. In Varanasi, the Ghats and other places are crowded with visiting foreign tourists who want to be witness of this colour festival. Elaborate security arrangements have also been made across the state to ensure an incident free Holi.
