Guru Purnima is being observed in traditional way of worship and to mark the respect for the Gurus. In Uttar Pradesh, the ancient city of religious faith and learning Varanasi has a special day today. A large number of disciples of different religious sects, Music Gharanas and Sanskrit scholars have been reaching to pay their respect for their masters. At Swami Keena ram ashram a large number of devotees are assembled to pay their tribute to this spiritual sanit. Many Musicians form different regions are also paying their respect to music maestros’. Varanasi is one of the important seats of learning of classical singing and music in India. As per tradition at some places disciples will also perform their musical talent before the gurus to show their skill what they had learnt from him. Earlier in morning , a large number of people were reached various Ghats of ganga in Varanasi and in Allahabad to take holy bath and offer traditional worships on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
