UP bye election: Rahul campaigns for Raj Babbar

In Uttar Pradesh host of star campaigners of different political parties are campaigning for one Lok Sabha and 11 Assembly seats by elections spread over 12 districts. Polling will take place on 7th of next month in these constituencies. National Secretary of Congress Mr. Rahul Gandhi today addressed a well attended election rally at Firozabad in favour of party nominee Raj Babbar. Emphasising for urgent initiatives for the development of farmers and laborers he said that no country can make development without development of farmers. Highlighting several schemes initiated by central government he said his party has faith in the politics of development and cast and religion have no place in its working. Without naming any non congress party he said that in Uttar Pradesh pace of development is stand still as leaders of this state have lost closeness with common men. Nearly after 30 years of time any member of Gandhi Nehru family has addressed election meeting in this area.<br/><br/>On the other hand State president of Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav today led nearly 30 Kilometer long cycle rally in Shikohabad area in favour of Party candidate Dimple Yadav in Firozabad constituency.<br/><br/>Over a dozen BSP ministers are camping in the constituency managing election for their candidate in Firozabad which would decide fate of several stalwarts. Central Health Minister and senior Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad addressed a public meeting in Issauli assembly constituency in Sultanpur district while Party MP and famous cricketer Azaharuddin has conducted road show in Lucknow West segment.<br/><br/>
