UP Budget Session begins

The Budget Session of Uttar Pradesh assembly began today with the address of Governor B L Joshi amidst uproarious scenes. In his address, the Governor said that the former Government was busy in only establishing idols, statue and parks and no public work was done. As soon as the Governor started his address, the BSP members disrupted the proceedings of the assembly. BJP, Congress and Rashtriya Lokdal members also blamed the Samajwadi Party Government for deteriorating law and order situation. The Governor further stated that various schemes are being implemented for the upliftment of farmers by present government. Mr. Joshi said that the state will achieve 10 percent growth rate during 12th five plan. The Assembly was adjourned for tomorrow amidst uproarious scenes.
