In Uttar Pradesh, arrested MLA of ruling Bahujan Samaj Party, Jitendra Singh Babloo has been sent to jail for 14 days under judicial custody. Another BSP leader Intizar Ahmad Abdi was also arrested along with him. They were arrested last night at Lucknow from their official residence in connection with arson at state Congress chief Rita Bahuguna Joshi's residence two years back. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that police produced them before the judicial magistrate and he sent them to jail. Joshi`s house at Lucknow was torched on July 19 2009.
