In Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly today passed the first supplementary budgetary grants of the Mayawati government amid din in the House. Our Lucknow correspondent reports, the BJP staged a walkout claiming that a major portion of the supplementary grant was meant for the statues, parks and memorials. Government had tabled Supplementary budgetary demands of 5461 crore 72 lakhs rupees yesterday in the house.
