In Uttar Pradesh, only 24 hours are left for campaigning for the first phase of elections. Political parties are making all efforts to woo the voters.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that many senior BJP leaders and star campaigners of the party held door to door poll campaigns and addressed small rallies at different parts of the state. Senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh campaigned for party candidates in Bulandshahar and Shahjahanpur districts while another BJP leader and Union Minister Smriti Irani campaigned for party candidates in Agra district.<br />'' <br />'' Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav today addressed public rally in Saharanpur and said that if his party comes into power he will implement social security schemes for skilled labourers. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee reached Lucknow today evening. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav received her at the airport. TMC is supporting Samajwadi Party in assembly elections. Ms. Banerjee will campaign for Samajwadi party in Uttar Pradesh.<br />'' <br />'' RLD chief Jayant Choudhary also campaigned in Meerut district today.
