In Uttar Pradesh, the State Assembly adjourned sine die abruptly after passing the budget for the next financial year. Our Lucknow Correspondent reports that members from the Opposition including Samajwadi Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress and Rashtriya Lok Dal staged a dharna in the well of the House after declaration of adjournment of the house sine die. Amidst uproarious scenes from Opposition, the Government passed budget and several bills without any discussion. The main opposition Samajwadi Party has demanded a fresh sitting of the House immediately.
