The Uttar Pradesh government has announced to provide free medical treatment to poor for serious ailments. Addressing a function on the World Kidney Day at Lucknow, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said his government would arrange for the infrastructure in this direction. Mr. Yadav stressed that as the poor people cannot arrange finances, they are more affected in case of serious illness.
