In Uttar Pradesh all is set for unopposed election of the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party nominee Pradeep Kumar Singh to Legislative Council . AIR Lucknow correspondent reports Mr. Singh is lone candidate for the seat for which the by-election is scheduled on 23rd of this month. This Council seat fell vacant after resignation of BSP MLC Jugul Kishor from the membership of the Council after being elected to the Rajya Sabha some time back. The tenure of this seat will come to an end on May 5, 2012.
