In Uttar Pradesh names of about 35 lakhs new voters have been included in the voters list during last one year. Final revision of voters lists for next assembly elections has begun on Thursday with the publication of draft voters list at all 1 lakh 28 thousand polling centres. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that total number of eligible voters has reached to more than 11 crore 19 lakhs in the state. The Election Commission has initiated a one month long special drive to include the names of missing eligible voters into voters lists and it will be concluded on 29th of next month.
