UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will travel next week to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman, during which he will attend the annual summit on energy that opens in Abu Dhabi on Monday. The four-day long 4th World Future Energy Summit (WFES) will discuss renewable and future energy solutions, innovations, investments and policy. According to a statement of UN, received by AIR in Dubai today, Mr. Ban will also meet with the Government leaders and visit Masdar City on the sidelines of the Summit. The Secretary General will then proceed to the Omani capital Muscat for an official visit during which he will have meetings with the country’s leaders. Topics of common interest include the forthcoming Decade of Action for Road Safety.
