Unseasonal rain damaged horticulture and rabbi crops of onion, wheat, grapes, groundnut, mango and cashew in Maharashtra

<span style="color: #222222;">Unseasonal rain has become a cause of concern for Maharashtra as it lashed many parts of the State including the Konkan, Vidarbha and Marathwada regions for the past two days and damaged the horticulture and rabbi crops of onion, wheat, grapes, groundnut, mango and cashew. Hailstorms were also witnessed in some parts of the State.<br />''<br />''Some casualties were also reported as there were incidences of lightning in some places. Three persons and more than 27 animals died due to lightning in Marathwada. The State had witnessed unseasonal rain in the last month also. Meanwhile, State Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar has said that the final decision about the aid to the farmers in the State will be taken by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He said that the State has witnessed unseasonal rain for the fifth time in the last six months.</span><br />
